He should not be swinging from the trees at all.

He should be sat in a chair with a tiny pipette full of hydrochloric acid slowly dripping on to random parts of his body for about two years.

He should be force fed one a fortnight, and force drunk every 7 days just to keep him barely alive.

He should also have a digit broken every three weeks and his anus and uretha sewn up.

He should be knee capped and blinded with a slow nail penetrating his ear drums.

Why doesn't anyone ever suggest castration for these terrible people. And for convicted rapists too. I suspect that it is because most judges are men.

no matter the debate about death penalty or not... we should all stop for one second to consider what that poor little girl went through, what hell she experienced as her last moments, and the question of how a monster like that could even be allowed to breath for a second longer is easy to answer.

I just can't get my head round this case at all. A grown man - a two year old innocent child. Say no more.....

The reason this case bothers me more than most is this.

...and let me just explain something weird - I normally don't get bothered by these cases because I don't think about them. I don't even want to consider how/why these crimes happen...

...but what really bothers me about this is a) it was his neice, b) she was at home upstairs with her parents downstairs, c) he killed her d) after killing her, he simply left.

All those things together really, really bother me. I don't want to sound heartless, but in all the cases I've ever read of before, I've never felt the kind of...it's not revulsion...it's incomprehension.

Yeah, that's it...I just don't understand how someone could do that.

Anyway - that's it.

That's why it's made my attitude to capital punishment 'wobble' (I'm normally against).
