whats the best thing to clean a 40 inch Lcd tv, ive tried polish and a soft duster but its still not perfect .

plain water is the best .... on an almost dry cloth.
most creaners contain solvents ... and the top coating of an lcd is very mechanically tough .... but vulnerable to chemicals

now you've "gunked" the screen with polish you'll need a slightly dampened cloth and a little natural soap
then wipe with a damp cloth

2 or 3 wipe-overs should do it
(or try baby wipes - fragrance free)

even better nip down to pc world and buy a tub of screen wipes
(cheap when you think of howmuch you've spent)

never use polish on an lcd screen !!!!!!!

clean as above or use proper lcd screen wipes.

Try glasses cleaner (the type you get from an optician) and a soft cloth,it's virtually the same as an expensive lcd cleaner..
