God's Kingdom.

What would change if God imposed His Kingdom on Earth now? No wars, no religion, no governments, no fags, no booze, no crime, no drugs, no violence, no hospitals etc. Total and utter obedience to Jesus and his 144,000 kings and priests. Today. Any ideas?

Well, it's 'luck of the draw' in terms of 'who deserves to suffer from a.n. other genetic flaw' (.i.e. none do, but some are unlucky), but somewhat a matter of probability for any given individual, based on their parent's genetic code (i.e. the probability of me getting sickle cell anemia was almost nil, since my ancestry is exclusively white going back many generations on both sides and it's a disease almost exclusively seen in non-whites). The chances of someone developing, say, Cystic Fibrosis if both parents are carriers are obviously significant. etc.

It would be a cruel and childish God who decided to punish you in the next life for something you had no memory of doing in a previous one. That would be like watching a kid draw on your wall and ten years later giving them a smack round the leg for it... I think said kid would be slightly bemused.

I also honestly hope that you never have to live with the effects of a sudden disibility or indeed terminal illness within your family. Seeing on a daily basis what some illnesses can do to you I would argue that surely not all the people I see were Hitler in a former life.
