Hi, Is the problem splatter from a paint roller? As it's just emulsion paint try warm soapy water, as paint stripper would probably damage the flooring. The other thing I have done in the past to 'lift' emulsion blobs is to gently use a plastic scraper, (the sort of thing you use to scape ice off the car windscreen) then wipe off with a damp cloth.
Me again...you didn't say if you'd done the decorating...if so then next time put dust sheets down. If the damage was caused by a 'proffessional' shoot them...they should have covered everything in the first place!!!
Ordinary wet wipes or baby wet wipes are excellent for this because of the oil in the wipes.

thanks for those - just got all the stray paint away using wet bum wipes, a use for which I'd never have dreamed of!
Just for future reference,if you do spill anything esle on your laminate, the best thing to use, is acetone,or noraml nail polish remover, this should take any spillage off
In reference to Bradders suggestion about nail polish remover, and with no disrespect meant, be sure to use the NON ACETONE nail polish remover. If not, you could damage the surface of what you are trying to remove the paint from. Here in the US there is a product that works very well for older more stubborn paint splashes called Oops. I have used it to remove old stubborn paint splashes from hardwood floors as well as many other surfaces. It also removes tar, chewing gum, etc. There are also soy and citrus based removers. Newt
