He was very tired for a few weeks after it, but I cannot recall the sore throat. He did have terrible headaches before and after the procedure but that was due to the amount of meds he was prescribed which had to be taken for three months after the procedure.
If he feels really unwell, he should go to see his GP for re-assurance. Gentle exercise after a couple of weeks would be beneficial, but the first four months after this Angioplasty has not to be taken lightly. It is probably a lot to do with his meds, but please get him to have it checked by his GP. Depression is often a side effect after Angioplasty but that will pass once he begins to feel better.
Hope he feels well soon.

Hi mousey9t
Just read your recent posting and nice of you to tell us how things went.
I have to say that your GP appears to be quite unsympathetic.
I still think that your Husband's symptoms could be due to the medication as my Husband is still on about ten differnent tablets since he had this procedure done and he still suffers side effects from them.
As to the depression, your GP could possibly be spot on as regards to his depression. This can often be a a problem with any type of heart disease. Luckily, my Husband was prescribed a long term type of medication for anxiety which has been a godsend to us.
He is now back to running his own business, but still has the odd day of not feeling too good.
Heart patients tend to think once they have procedures done it is a magic wand which it is not. Then they tend to get a bit down after that.
Everyone is different in their progress and I have to say that you are probably going through a tough time also. Trying to keep it all together.
Just hope your Husband gets the treatment that is best for him. It sometimes takes pestering your GP or Cardiologist, but the bottom line is, you Husband has to tell himself that he is on the mend now and it all takes time.
Kepp in touch and hang in there.
