Going abroad for a week later in year. Have twin boys who will be 6 months by then. Just wondering about taking formula milk abroad given all the security at airports. Can I take made up bottles for journey (I've heard I have to taste it infront of airport starff !) also how do I take unmade formula. If I take out of tin - it will look like white powder being taken in luggage (can't imagine that will go down well !) or do I leave in tin? Help ! I will buy tins of food out there and will line my cases with nappies but just wondered about formula

Most counties in Eurpoe will have the same formula as you use at home, but you will need to use bottled water to make it up. You could always take cartons of the ready mixed stuff in your case for the first few days. You can also get pre-steriliesd disposable bottles, but it would work out expensive for a weeks supply
What security decides to pull you up on varies on a daily basis and from airport to airport
This site below however, could save you some hassle and also leaves your baggage free for extra clothes as you don;t get a baggage allowance for children as they don't use a seat
