as many of you know i am going to orlando in 5 weeks and much to my dissapointment we are not renting a car. (i know it best to get one we're just not) (bloody father in law) Any way he says(thats my father in law, whos been 3 times now) that they just call for taxis, like last time they had a private number and just rung them up and they took them anyewhere. What i want to know is that do these taxis come with carseats as we have a two year old?

I don't know if the taxis have car seats or not, but can you not hire a car in your own name? Does your father-in-law have to dictate to you like this? Also how are you getting from the airport to your hotel/villa? Does that transport have a car seat?

Hi, i dont drive myself. My husband does but neither of us has a credit card which i believe is essential for renting a car. Also my father in law is paying for the whole holiday so i feel i have to respet his wishes a little. We booked transferes from the airport to the hotel. there are also 8 of us in the party which get really expensive for renting. Don't get me wrong my husband and i have discussed getting a car there if we feel the need but as i say above you seem to always need a credit card we only have debit cards!!
Just watch that you don't get stung for high taxi fares!!!
Ok, I understand your reasons for not booking a hire car. But do you know if the transfer you have booked provides a car seat? Maybe you could check with your airline if you can carry a car seat then you know that you are covered.
