Why does our fridge produce lower temperature during summer months?

Milk starts to freeze if the thermostat control is not altered and items, such as boiled potatoes, can become like blocks if ice. Joints of cooked meat develop a brittle texture which makes carving difficult. However, welsh cakes take-on a pleasant biscuit texture.

Thanks radiogaga for having told us, warmly, about your chilling experience.

However, as a logical explanation is not forthcoming in this section of AB, we have re-posted the question in 'How it Works' under the title of 'Freezing Fridge!!'

Hopefully we are not 'frozen out' this time.

Best wishes.....Keep cool and control things!!!....V & R.
