why is the world cruel?

i know there maybe some people who will berate me for this but i just feel like the world is so cruel. someone said to me well its a dog eat dog world and everyone is in compeition with each other. But to me in my place of work that seems it means everyone is nasty to me i cant get a thing right and i dont like it at all. why cant people be nice etc?

I don't know what sort of job you have but I used to work in an environment where there was always someone being treated like crap by everyone else. It used to get on my nerves, especially when we had a lovely 16 year old boy in tears about it.

It is the way of the world. Just do your job as well as you can and thank god you dont have to see these people outside of working hours.

You have mentioned you cant get a thing right, maybe you need to ask for help or maybe this isnt true, I dont know? Try your best and if you arent cut out for it, find something else.

now look steve, those people at work are in it for the money and want to make sales to earn a few quid extra commission. you have already decided you are not cut out for the job, what i suggest is that you look for something alot less dependant on a salesman's role. the people you work with may try to use any means they can to take a sale off you, they won;t change, so you will have to either get as cut throat as they are or find a job you can take your time over.

I must seem really knieve but i just cant see why people are mean to others and why there should be hate in the wider world why we cant all live in harmony i dont know. perhaps it is something to do with greed - wish we were all less greedy.

no it isn;t greed. it is survival, some of the guys there will have a huge mortgage, kids to support, etc, you are at home with your folks, i bet they think their need is greater than yours. Maybe they are right in one respect, but they should use that as a motivator or incentive to sell more for themselves rather than try to take it off you

ok perhaps i have a slight problem in that i have become rather annoyed with consumerism. it seems to me thats shopping is such a huge part of life and its not something i like. i had a phase of buying a lot of clothers but that does not make me happy and i have not bought any clothers since christmas - except some new socks which are a need.
life seems to me about how much of things than being more genuine in terms of understanding life etc.

people are self centered im afraid.
they think about themselves more than others.its true everywhere.even on ab.you see someone getting abuse for expressing an opinion .totally called for everything.yet users sit and read it and say nothing.why is it allright for some to get abuse yet not others?like i said people can be so nasty.dont take it to heart.i dont .ifr i did id be hanging from a bridge with a farewell note in my hand.
but id rather fight on than give in.i suggest you face up to these people and let them know you wont let them step on you or sh1t on you.let them know you aint taking their sh1t anymore.
