For anyone who doesn't know it, the riddle is - What is greater than God, more evil than the devil, the poor have it, the rich need it, and if you eat it, you will die? The answer is 'nothing', and if you insert the answer into each section, it makes sense.
How many more people are going to ask about this same riddle? There are numerous references on the net and the abank has been asked 3 or 4 times. The answer is NOTHING.
There are a couple of questions that crop up more than once on The Answerbank - that's because not everyone is a regular visitor, and may be new to the Site, and for those reasons, may not have seen the earlier answers. It may be a minor irritation for regular visitors to see repeat questions, but this is balanced by the need to encourage everyone to ask their question, wether it is 'new' or not - the patience of regular visitors is appreciated.
Yes, but it does make you wonder sometimes when people post the same question multiple times in a row. Not searching through the archives is one thing, but surely there's no excuse for not glancing down the page?
The answer for all you people that can't think is........NOTHING! Nothing is greater than God, Nothing is more evil than the devil, the poor has Nothing, the rich need Nothing, and if you eat Nothing, you die!
