Hello,
I'm using the windows media thing to try and put stuff on my MP3 player. However the media thing downloads stuff of my cds as WMA files. I managed to get one onto my player. However it won't loa anything else. It looks like it's doing stuf but doesn't. I don't hav an interlink on my pc so I can't download any different software. there's nowhere in windows media to change the WMA folders into MP3 ones. I've had my MP3 player since christmas and I'd really like to use it but I am not technically minded. Any help much appreciated. Thank you

Next time, click the little arrow in the Rip tab and click format and tick mp3. From now on, all your cds will rip in mp3.
For your wma files try this (after you have set mp3 to default format:
Click the arrow in the Sync tab - 'more options'. Now click the advanced tab in the box that opens.
Tick 'allow audio files to convert in the background' and ok.
If that doesn't work - this will sort you out:
