For all the HEROES fans:

I just read that 'Heroes' season 1 is being released here in the US on Aug. 28, and Season 2 will air on Sept 24. So be patient, it should be there soon.

the full boxset of heroes over here in england isnt released till december though :-( but they are releasing season 1 part 1 & part 2 boxsets! but i think im gonna wait and get the full boxset!

it really annoys me when the tv companies release series x part 1 and part 2 box sets ahead of the full box set.it serves no other purpose than to exploit the shows fanbase.

The reason the boxed sets are released like this are for contractural reasons. TV companies pay big bucks for shows such as Heroes and Lost, they rely on people watching the whole series so they can sell advert space and recoup the money they spent. Releasing the whole series on DVD before the series has ended on tv will mean loss of revenue for the telly companies, so they do a part one halfway through and part two when it finishes.
