Green children??

Years ago I read an article about a young boy and girl who were found in a field (or something). Rumour has it that they came from 'The Underground World'. the girl could talk but the boy couldn't and he died shortly after he was found. the girl grew into an old woman and lived out her years in an old people's home in Devon. They were both green - coloured. As they years passed, the girl's skin turned more 'white', but still had a green hue about it. Is this story true at all or is it just another urban myth???

Sound like a much receyled myth to me - the article at this link dates the event back to the 12th century
