german measles query

im 6.5 wks pregnant and there is german measles in the area where i live.my 2 kids have had there mmr and im immune to rubella.am i safe and are my kids safe to mix with other children as the girl with german measles lives in our street.

I'm pretty sure that if youve had the rubella immunisation then you are covered and cannot catch it. i guess the only reason for you not being would be if it hadnt worked but i reckon that is very unlikely. the same goes for your kids.
