why isnt a person allowed to backdate the claim as they didnt realise they could make the claim due to NEVER having to make a claim before, does that make sense?? just a discussion ive been having with someone

How would you tell if the claim was genuine?
Doesnt yr employer have something to do with SSP?

sasha the claim was genuine because the sick line was from the hospital
If youre employed its not a case of you claiming SSP, your employer will arrange this for you after the 3rd day of sickness.
