Should I buy it now?

Hi all, I am getting my 3 year old a bike for Christmas and the one I want is on offer right now at toys r us. there is �10 off and it includes a free gift worth �15. My dilemma is, is it too early to buy it and is there likely to be a better offer on it again before now and Christmas? If I do go ahead and buy it it will stay in the box until December un opened and if they do a better deal on it after can I take it back? What should I do?

Its too soon.You won't be able to resist showing it to him. I would ask them about taking it back,the receipt will be nearly 3months old,anyway �10 off is not a lot off.

Buy it now - why not? You'll only regret paying full price for it later in the year. I already have a couple of Christmas presents - not that I was particularly looking, but if I see the right thing for someone I buy it, otherwise when I need the present I can't get hold of the thing I originally saw and I can't find anything else. Also, it does help to spread the cost of Christmas.

i also have a couple of pressies for christmas, put them in a cupboard out of sight so youre not tempted to give them to him

and its a chance you have to take that its has a better offer nearer the time, it works both ways, it may have gone up in price and may not have the gift

yeah cos over it bein cheap and alll that everyone will buy them or the price will go back up
