No, no, settle down down everyone - the paper's not out yet so we've no idea what the answers are just yet.
I'm posting this very early today because probably about the time one of the early birds is looking for somewhere to post the 'pearls of wisdom' I'll be heading into town for an appointment with the dentist !!!
Wouldn't you know it - we leave very early tomorrow for Melbourne and one of my wretched teeth has decided now would be a good time to play up - damn it !!!
I will score the results and post them as soon as I can, but it will be later than usual, by which time a number of you will have already worked out your own score for the weekend.
And while we're on the subject of disruptions to services - could I have a volunteer to post next Saturdays thread please ?? We will be driving back home that day, but will probably be some 200 - 300 klicks away when posting time is due so if someone doesn't mind their inbox being over-run by lots of enthusiastic entrants, I'd be very grateful - and stars will be given out nilly-willy !!!
Will be with you later [ much later ] today S

Well, I think we'll call that the weekend that wasn't - a very quiet one on the score board with points for Blood Sugar going begging for starters and the other three matches receiving only minor support.
First off, with Mosaic Gold was DizzyLizzie then a bit later came seekeerz with York Shire, and then a little bit later, lysander slotted in Nest Box and that was that, regarding bonus points - no flying fur, feathers and dust, and no need for the stop watch and the cheese paring knife !!!
Each scoring one point were chiefpanda, Jan1956, Christiana, Jools, Grenmus, rogerr, paulineward, merched, Alibobs, devadiva, twosearch, Magyar, Elspeth, eccles & Prescott
Now I would be very grateful if whoever lodges the words starts the thread next Saturday - but please don't fight over it, I'd hate to arrive home to squabbling, so play nicely !!
And lastly, I'm very glad to hear my mates who have been on the sick list are well on the road to recovery - that Deefa is dragging Ulysses out of bed for walks, but merched - I'm sorry, but I'm not, about Wales - perhaps I should have warned you, I'm a very vocal supporter of the Aussies and things tend to get a bit hostile during the cricket season, but with rugby, I'm worse [ if that's possible !! ]
Ok, that's about it - Congratulations to all the points winners, I really thought we would have had more scorers, but then - we never can out guess Kate.
I'm away now to pack and sort out all those fiddly things before heading off at some ridiculous hour tomorrow morning so will catch up with you all next weekend Steff xx

Hi seekeerz
Just got in from work and saw my name mentioned!!
I didn't see the match but I know we lost to Oz! I don't follow the rugby nowadays, my time was the Gareth Edwards, JPR Williams and Barry John era. Good luck to Oz in the next round, and, of course , Wales.
Iechyd da!!!
merched
ps My sister is a big Oz fan, holidays there every year for about 4-6months of the year, especially the Byron Bay and Melbourne areas.
