Cold and chesty cough - alternative remedies..

Good afternoon all!

Bogged down with a nasty cold, chesty cough and body aches but there's only so many paracetamol I can take!

Anyone got any good alternative remedies? All suggestions gratefully recieved!

Pop down to Tesco and get a carton of Mango and Passionfruit INNOCENT smoothy.

It's delicious, and packed with vitamin c... served in a tall glass with ice..

My friend recommended it for hangovers, colds... and so far it works....

My favourite cure is honey, fresh lemon juice, a little hot water and an enormous shot of whiskey. Soothes, warms and knocks you out nicely for a couple of hours, if you still ache and feel rubbish keep repeating until you feel better, serioulsy, works every time!

Manuka honey will boost your imune system, may not make you feel better now, but will over time!

princesspie: try vicks vapor rub. its great ..cuts down on the congestion almost immediately, clears you sinuses' ...you get the pict.
