Which airline are you flying with and do you know the exact spec of the 757? If not, what route are you flying?

Seatguru.com is pretty good, as they highlight the best and worst seats
Yep, www.seatguru.com

Or a couple of glasses of vino tinto, and just go to sleep!
one next to an exit is always my choice!!
I agree with Hawkwalk, probably for different reasons though lol
The legroom at the exit or doors is much better than the rest of the plane. Other seats are a bot cramped.
I found that very interesting, but hopefully I've finished flying for this year.
try not to sit near a toilet, you will have people queing up next to your seat the whole journey, especially if you have an aisle seat.
As a couple who travel quite a bit, we always sit oposite each other in asle seats, its far more comfortable than jabbing your elbows in each other whilst attempting to eat the awful food served and you are still near enough to chat. The first time we were allocated seats like this we were outraged at not sitting next to each other, but half way through the flight we realised how much more comfortable we were and 20 years later still do so.
Agree with toilet bit, I spent 9hrs flying to Florida next to a overflowing and smelly loo, with people's bottoms quueing up in my face - this with BA!
