Am I the only one who gets a little bit peeved at no recognition being made when you go out of your way to answer a question? Maybe it should be mandatory for the question poster to thank or rate the answerers?
I must have answered thousands of crossword and quiz questions on here and about ten percent of them say thank you. It's a bit like the rude people whom you hold the door open for in a shop and they just waltz past you as if you are part of the fixtures . I don't expect people to bow down and thank me profusely but it doesn't hurt to say thank you especially if someone has gone to a lot of trouble for you. Especially some of the great people on her like Chris (Buenchico) and Ethel and many many more;too many to mention ,who give really informative answers. I'm afraid that's life these days Matt.
Manners maketh man or so the saying goes ..but I wouldn't let it worry you too much .Have a large drink and put it down to experience .If you don't drink ..have one of Boo's cakes instead :)
In spite of the thrill I get flaunting my 'genius' for the whole world to admire, I'm not quite so sure I'd look forward to the rating I deserve for half my answers . . . still, no extra charge!
thanks to you all.
give me a chance to revisit the site tho will ya!!!!!!
i posted the question after 10pm last night and have only just come online so chill !
