Babies or Tots?

A recent local sweetie quiz included the following clues:

1. Wobbly Toddlers
2. Semi-transparent Infants

Answers given were 1. Jelly Babies 2. Jelly Tots

Mrs P and I had given answers to 1 & 2 the opposite way round. Dictionary gives toddler as young child learning to walk and Infant as child esp before walking.

I know the quiz setter has the final say but can anyone justify why the given answers might be correct?

Hi pugwash. I have looked through some dictionaries online and come up with this:
Toddler is a young child
Infant is a very young child (from birth to 1 year old who doesn't walk or talk)
therefore the infant is the baby, and the toddler is the "tot"
so the quizmaster was correct.

i would say the quiz master was correct

1) wobbly toddlers is jelly tots as they are starting to work and toddlers implies they are older

2) infants are babies , then they go to young baby, toddler, pre school, reception, primary school age, secondary school age, pre teen, teenager, young adult, adult, middle aged, old etc

As Aquagility says there are no prizes for being right. Just want to have a rant and see if I had missed something
