Big baby

Hi I was just wondering im 25 weeks pregnant but measuring 30 weeks has anyone else had this. They have now tested me for diabeties get my results next week but ive never had it before. I am worried now.

some babies do carry higher or lower than the guidelines so dont panic.

Wait for your results and then go from there. A woman i know who was pregnant same time as me had gestantional diabetes and yet her baby was born weighing 7lbs and mine weighed 9lbs 6ozs! I felt conned lol

Its all controlable once its diagnosed and you may even get lots of extra scans to check baby is OK.

I wouldn't worry, some babies are just big. My sons were both big the eldest was10lb 4oz and the one i've just had was 9lb 10oz! They are both fine and i didn't have diabetes.

Im the same when i was 32weeks my baby was showing bigger - so they tested me to see if im diabetic, and it come back positive! Baby is now normal weight just carrying alot of water (im now 35weeks) i wouldnt worry - its prob just alot of water like me!!

Thank you all .This pregnancy has not been the easiest as my baby has been diagnosed with cleft lip and palate so I guess im just a little bit more nervous this time and when I was told he is measuring 30 weeks I just thought something else was going wrong.
