Help my cat is licking herself so much, that its making her bald. Took her to the vet last year, and was told its her hormones. She is 8years old, and the problem has started up again. Its not fleas as she is frontlined every month, along with my other cats. Anyone got any remedys please?

She needs to go back to the vet for hormone medication. I have had a cat with this problem who needed medication on a permanent basis.
Mine did this for a few years, prompting a course of HRT. However, on talking to my next door neighbour I commented that I hadn't seen her cat for a while - turns out it had died, at about the same time that my cat started over-washing. The vet said that it could be stress caused by pining, and took her off HRT. The cat got over it after a while, the fur grew back and she's been fine since.
Spray her with cheese. Cats don't like licking cheese.
