I am looking for a Speaker to do a talk at our Dog Training club's AGM. We have had many different Doggie subjects over the years so was wondering if anyone had any fresh ideas?

The new Dog Control Orders which are being introduced? How each council has differing laws depending on their views? See KC Dog on the Kennel Club site for further information. I believe it is the most important thing to affect dog owners to date. It will criminalize a lot of people, for things like walking more than 2 dogs at once and so on.
I just attended my second talk by Fiona Wheelan from the company of animals. The first one was on aggression, the last one was noise phobias :-)
Ann Harpwood founder of Justice For Dogs does a brilliant talk. They represent people who have been taken to court for dog related problems and they provide barristers or solicitors who are experts in such matters.

Dr Jeff Sampson the Kennel Club Genetics Expert. He does a talk about canine genetics and inherited diseases, and the work being done to find cures for inherited conditions and DNA profiling, alongside Angellika Von Heimendahl who is an expert on Artificial Insemination and fertility problems.

You can get Jeff's details from the Kennel Club.

Have you ever had anyone from your local Police Dog Section or even Armed Forces? A lot of them have their own breeding programmes and of course the specialist training they put the dogs through which might be interesting.
