Hiya, i recently bought my boyfriend a nokia 6300. He loves it, but when he tries to bluetooth any file, it saves directly to the phone. With the phone memory being rather low as it is, no files can really be transferred. I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the settings so that the files received go straight onto the memory card, instead of the phones memory.

i haven't tried sending anything from the PC as of yet, because the phone's memory is so small, even music is unable to be sent. Usually nokias ask which memory it can go into, but with this phone, i just don't understand!at the minute, the phone has about 4 MB of memory on it, and that's with all the standard nokia stuff ie: nokia ringtones and alerts. i just don't know what to do!Thanks anyway!Danni xxxx
Ive just sent 5 songs from my lappy to the phone
Ive just played a little you can pick which memory to use with camara and video...
But as i said ive just done 5 songs so i would try the Pc way.........
is there an option to 'manage files'? you can, if you have this, move files from phone to card or copy them over and delete the one on the phone?
If you use Nokia PC Suite as your interface you can choose exactly where the music goes to. Simply access the phone from "My Computer" and then "phone browser" you can then send anything straight to the card!
When you recieve a bluetooth on a nokia it goes in your message inbox, go there and play the file, pause and then -options -save. It then asks where on the phone do you want it saved (phone or card) when You have saved it, delete it from your inbox
