John of god -scissors up nose

i have no opinions either way of spiritual healer john of god(JOG) but i was amazed at how he put scissors up a patients nose and twisted them -this is known as the" blockhead trick" which derren brown performed - but this relates to putting objects in ones OWN nose and is a common trick but it is - not about putting objects up someone ELSE'S nose- which JOG has been described by skeptic james randi as " highly dangerous" - but how many have sduffered injury thru JOG doing this to them?

eerrrm, ok, did this man put the scissors UP the nose horizontally or in a more vertical position?
i don't know about this JOG person but i did see derren brown do it on TV the other day, its something i first saw at a jim rose circus performance, its not a trick, everyone can do it (I've tried it with a cotton bud, great for clearing out bogeys when you've got a cold!!)
this would be dangerous if the impliment were too long or the person doing it had an unsteady hand, so if JOG knew what he was doing there's no reason why he would have injured anyone (although that relies on the person hes doing it to not flinching or sneezing!!)
