There re no roads up there .
But i am sure the pilot knows where he is.
HO sorry perhaps you dont trust the pilot.

You would obviously need a window seat where the sat nav has uninterrupted contact with at least 3 satellites to get a fix.

Whether it's legal to use one on an plane is another matter.
