annoying mark

hi! i have a scar on my upper lip which is very annoying . i have tried many creams and lately have been using bio oil but nothing seems to get rid of it . i am thinking of visiting the laser clinic but thought id ask first. scarring has occured because ive been using a tweezer to pluck out hairs.

A consultation with a reputable clinique should be free. Check they are registered with the relevant regulatory bodies first.

However, before you look into lasering I'd take a really good friend aside and ask for their opinion. We all see flaws in ourselves which other's don't so it could be that although it is annoying to you, someone else may not even notice it.

How long have you been using the bio oil for? It does take a while to work as it gradually fades it...

Vitamin E is best solution for it.. just keep taking it til it goes.. read about it in Let's Get Well by Adelle Davis. vitamin E helps to control skin growth and healing - I use the bio-oil on a keloid, been using it for ten months now and not much difference

Stick with the bio oil. I've had a few scars that it's managed to get rid of. I used to use just a drop EVERY day. Probably takes a couple of months to really fade.

it's far kinder and cheaper than the laser.
