DOES IT? Well apart from the obvious annoyance of an advert we might get to see some of the up to date episodes rather than just the first 6 series the beeb insist on repeating to death.

the bbc is really losing it. it has lost all manner of live sport, whilst sitcoms on the channel are becoming extinct, and now it has forfeited the best bit of entertainment it had (simpsons - albeit antiquated episodes). Hopefully the new DG will put the station back on the rails and justify the ludicrous 'television tax'
