I read that this morning. Strange what some people believe in
I was surprised that so many folk actually attended the cermony.
At least he can honestly say........."i married a dog" :)))
`Selvi', couldn't have liked her bridegroom much if she ran away at the ceremony.
The only reasons I can think of for the dog to stay is if she is looked after properly. Given food, water and be cared for as a dog should be, with respect and not just used for some ridiculous twisted religious purpose.
Will this marriage change the man or will he end up causing the animal harm when it doesn't obey him?
Only time will tell.
He's obviously baking mad!
However, once he had the idea, he wouldn't let the, "bone go with the dog!"
Paws for thought here methinks.
Given the caste system, did he ask his chum about his wifes' pedigree?
Did he give her a lamp post as a wedding present?
Once bitten ......
It's certainly a strange tail....er....tale
Some people may say it's a load of tripe or maybe there's a lot more to it and we're only scratching the surface.
:0)
You never know though, maybe the dog has been sent by the dead dog guru and will end up stoning him to death and hanging him from a tree in retribution.
Theland, typical man - never quite get the gift right!! Why would he buy his bride a lamp post? She's a GIRL!!
I posted this question in R&S assuming that I'd get some thoughtful and, perhaps even, philosophical responses. Huh! No chance! This place is going to the dogs! Gerrrufff. :o)
It is difficult to rationalise and debate any philosophical elements where the nature of the beast in question is irrational. Man does so many things which one would consider unconventional, absurd or just plain odd. Your dog bride is rather run of the mill when it comes to strange love. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_an d_west/7095134.stm
