non leather shoes

I am trying to find on behalf of a friend that has an allergy to wearing leather where he can get some made or any place that stocks these shoes . that are non leather.Thanks.

All the cheaper shoe shops sell shoes made of man made materials. As do the catalogues and so on.

It is just a matter of understanding the labels.

Most trainers are also man made material.

There is a shop in Brighton North Laine area that is called "Vegan Shoes".

There is a shoe shop near us called Shoe Express & they sell shoes which are made of man made materials, hence their cheaper prices. Maybe there's one near you?

Must be awful to be allergic to leather shoes, 'cos I love 'em!

Me as well - but if you can't wear them, you can't. Have you tried looking round the local markets?

Thanks for your replies yes he did get shoes from a shop here in leicestershire think it was Wigston Magna but they only had slip on ones and apperently most of the nurses wear similiar but he could not get shoes for men .Have told him to look for the man made ones.Thanks
