It means we get 2 bottles of Southern Comfort in the shopping(hic!), along with various cheeses and peanuts, resulting in my waistline increasing its girth. It means I have to jump up and down in the wheelie bin to get all the wrapping paper in. It means I have to find another excuse not to go to the outlaws for dinner on Boxing Day. It means I am dragged to the outlaws on Boxing Day where I am informed dinner will be at 2 p.m. It means I know dinner will not be on the table until 3.15 at the earliest. It means lots of people get drunk and break their limbs, ending up on the operating table where I work. It means lots of children will get bikes and skateboards and roller blades for Christmas and they will also end up having their arms plastered where I work. It means that if I'm working at least I'm getting paid double time with a days holiday in lieu.
