Hi 4getmenot, hi everyone.
Daffy i'm sorry to hear about your daughter, i hope she's ok.
Bill i hope your wee boy is ok too. That's the worst scare you can get when it's your child, no matter what age they are. Thinking of you both.xx

4get, one night i was watching something scary on the TV, my fiance was on the comp so i put on my cordless headphones as not to disturb him. Well anyway i got up to go to the loo, still wearing the headphones. As i was coming back along the hall my fiance grabbed me from behind, boy did i scream. Because it happend so quick and unexpected, my first instinct was to fight so i swung round and aimed a kick, luckily he jumped back or else he would have had very sore bits.:))

Very funny. Me and my mate were walking down a dark alley once leading to the train station. In situations like this your mind starts wondering and there were these two lads walking behind us so straight away I hold my purse tight to my body, as we got further down the alleyway the footsteps got closer behind then they got quicker and wuicker until my mate shouted run!!!!!! Well I started screaming and at the same time threw myself in a hedge meanwhile my mate was still running to catch the train that had just pulled into station along with the two boys also running to catch it. lol
lol 4get, i've never laughed so much, my sides are hurting. I can just picture it you screaming, throwing yourself into a hedge clutching your bag cos you thought you were under attack. LOL :))))
I wonder what the guys thought ???

They were probably happy they caught the train :-) Not the only time I thought I was being attacked either, I also thought we had intruders in my flat one night. I was in bed with my now ex and wed just drifted off with the TV on so it was quite light in the room, well I got woken by a large bang and two people came running in room towards me so I shot up and screamed my heart out. After doing this for a while and I then turned round to find my bloke holding up my full length mirror in his hand and saying can I have some help here. The loud bang had been the bottom of the mirror hitting the floor and the people running towards me had been the reflection of me and my bloke and the mirror tilted towards us. :-) Weirdly enough my bloke managed to catch it before it hit the floor and he had just woken up. When I actually ralised what had happened I burst into tears through the whole shock of it.
lol
anyone else think 4getmenot should come with a government health warning.
That story reminds me of the time we raided a house in Wesat Belfast going after a gunman who had been shooting at us. Once the front dor had been kicked in by my oppo, I ran to the top of the stairs and as I reached the top I was astonished to be confronted by someone pointing a rifle at me, when I fired my rifle, I was shocked and stunned to see my reflection explode in a million pieces in front of me!!!!

I paid for the family to have a brand new mirror installed on their airing cupboard door

Maybe that should be a new question :-)
Daffy, Bill & Legend - hope everything turns out OK.
daffy i hope your daughter will be ok!

When my mum was dying and I'd stayed overnight at the hospital because her Doctor had told me she wouldn't last much longer. As i walked down the corridor i thought "my mum is going to die today" and i went cold all over with fear. That's the most afraid I've ever been.
I was quite scared when I woke up in bed to find I'd somehow snapped my elbow, gone into shock and was coughing up lots of blood, didn't help that I had amnesia too. Thought I was going to die and I couldn't remember what I'd done.
The most scared I am is during my nightmares.

I've got a pretty good imagination, I tell thee! I scare myself witless!!

Mind you, that's coming from the woman who is also terrified of spiders. They come a close 2nd.
Champagne, why haven't you enabled your personal message thingy?
