downloads 'timing out'?

whilst trying to download from the symantec website,the download kept 'timing out' so it took ages to finally get what i was after.this doesn't happen unless the download is going to take a wee while.is there any solution to this?thanks

Have you got a virus on your computer?
There are lots of ways to speed up your internet connection.
As you are having trouble only with downloads, i suggest you get a download accelerator. Dap Free should speed it up.
Make sure you delete:
*Temp internet files
*Cookies
*History
*SSL cache
*Auto complete cache
That should also speed up your internet a bit.
Try what i suggested, post back if any problems occur.

haven't got a virus and i regularly delete internet files,cookies etc.i haven't got time tonight but i'll give the 'dap free' a go tomorrow.cheers wix.
