Anyone watch Dear Dierdre on C4 last night? Bit of an eye opener for me- or am I the only one who has no clue what goes on in the internet world. It was the last bit- where people build avatars of themselves that are directed around various places and meet and indulge themselves with the avatars of other people. Sounds hugely wierd to me..... comments??

i caught the end of that progam. to be honest i thought that something has to be seriously wrong with these people. i mean, what normal people would get off making computer characters get it on together?!

That reminds me of an episdode of CSI Vegas..the one where all the people dress up as cuddly anmimals and get off with each other.

Thought the guy with the avatar fixation needs to get out a bit more. Def. looked like a total geek, had he not already been in a eight year relationship.
