They claimed to have been "thrown" around their bedroom by the ghost yet it turned out they were jumping around the room off their beds.
The "acclaimed ghosthunter" who was investigating these disturbances was a dodgy old geezer with a handlebar moustache and a checky sports jacket (he was also a bit of a ginger). In the same "documentary" he also took part in an attempt to get undeniable evidence of the existence of spooks. This involved filming about 20 people (who all wanted to believe in ghosts) sitting in a supposedly haunted room in total darkness. surprisingly enough, before very long something happened... a cup smashed on the floor. Of course, nobody actually saw this happen, as it was too dark. The cameras didn't pick anything up as it was too dark, yet our acclaimed ghosthunter took this as absolute proof that ghosts exist. Hmmmm. I think an acclaimed ghosthunter should eliminate all other possibilities before declaring that a ghost had smashed the cup.
By the way, the acclaimed ghosthunter also invented those rolling advertisement boards you see at bus stations... At least he said he did...
Well I just watched it and it was interesting, the voice the girl speaks in is definately that of an old man, he even says where he is buried in green street churchyard and that he meets with his friends in Durants park and chose the girls house because he used to live there!
The girl janet has never spoken about what happened since so this was her first interview and she was very believable, my husband remembers her coming to school shaken which was made worse by the fact she was on the front of all the daily papers.
I know there was a book about the green street ghost but can't remember what it was called - if anyone knows? Or any interesting stuff to do with it, I am obviously interested as it's so close to where I live and was soooo famous.
