adding a friend on beta

when adding a new friend on here has anyone actually done a description of that person that it gives you the option of doing? Ive not, yet, just wondering how it shows itself if you do and can the other person see it? or anyone else for that matter.

I was getting super paranoid then as you're all chatting about PMing this and chatting about that, and who is friends with who..... I can't even get beta today so if I did have a friend I wouldn't know about it LOL
