What is Benidorm like in January ?

it is warm during the day and v cold at night
lots to do for everyone
very lovely place even if you dont like the hustle and bustle of the busy town centre
there is a lemon train which goes as far as alicante and up to javea and altea where there are good markets
a very good market in benidorm and villajoysa all reached by the cheap train
my parents have come back yesterday and said it was in the 70s during the day

I went to Denia about 5 years ago and we had a short sleet shower on Christmas Eve! However,taking the train further along the coast towards Alicante the weather was sunny and bright during the day-but a pullover was essential.
