VEGETARIAN??

Where can I find out if chocolate tins eg Heros, Celebrations, Roses, Quality Street, are suitable for veges despite the ingredient listing??

I'm sure the tins are fine but the sweets will contain dairy products at the very least.

dont want to be cruel to you sweetheart,but if you eat tuna (fish).your not a vegetarian,your classed as a pescitarian!!

The ingredients lists will give you the info you need, but you do need to be an expert in looking for animal ingredients such as rennet (probably not in chocolate, but the first example that comes to my mind!)

vinny100, the reason I am asking, is because I need to buy my cousin something, and he's a strict vegetarian. There's no reason why you should readily assume the chocs are for me anyway!

Best thing is to try the Cadbury's or Nestle website and email them from there. Some sweets contain gelatin which is made using horses hooves or other animal by-products. You can buy vegan-approved which uses no animal products, including milk, here
