dishwasher prob

when using my dishwasher recently, the dishwasher tablet is dropping into the cutlery basket and not disolving

why is it doing this?

Your dishwasher cycle is not long enough, mine does this if i put it on a short cycle. You can just put it on the bottom of the dishwasher before you turn it on. you dont need to put it in that little tray.

Have you changed tablet brands, we had some crap ones once, that never dissolved properly - probably cheap ones from lidl or the like..
