roberto cavalli - serpentine

lancome - miracle
calvin klein - escape
Wow! thanks so much for all the answers, i'm new to this but never expected such a response. That is brilliant, will have a proper look through them, write them down and have a few trips to the perfume department! I do quite like heavy perfumes, the one i wear all the time is actually Coco Madamoiselle which someone mentioned. Thank you again for such detailed and helpful replies, i am sure to found one i like out that little lot.
I'm an Armani junkie, love them all (except maybe Code- a bit too strong for me), I have a whole range of them, Mania City Glam, Elle, Diamonds. They can be worn at any time of day, or evening, and don't go "off" after a few hours. When you try a new perfume, don't buy right away, spray it on and wait a while (go for a coffee), then decide, but don't try any more than two at a time. Be daring, try something new!
i always wear christian dior (dolce vita) but my daughter has bought me some hugo boss which i quite like but do try testers, its too expensive to end up left on a shelf 'cos you don't like it.
I recently discovered Philosykos Diptyque, out of my usual price range but one whiff and I had to have this figgy scent.
Agent Provocateur is lovely too.
Another tip, I don't know if they do it in the UK, but here you might find a dish of coffee beans in the perfume department. After trying perfume, a sniff of coffee bean neutralises your sense of smell, so that you can carry on testing!
It really works!
