i have the above car and having trouble getting it started my friend put his jump leads on it for 10 mins as i tried to kick it in after several attempts it kicked in i revved it a few times then it cut out so tried again but wouldnt kick in although it turned over but when i was trying get it kick in i got a clicking sort of noise now and then my friend took the leads off then i tried again and the car was completely dead its as if the only power i had was when the leads were connected is my battery naffed or the alternator..also a few weeks ago my battery light on the dash came on very dim when i was driving now and then was this telling me something??

you say a light came on the dash, was the symbol on the light a battery? If so, it with be the alternator not putting charge in your battery, change the alternator and put a new battery on. may sure you have the right battery for the car.
