I admit, it was a cheap shot, but at least Cameron is honest (as honest as a politician can be) about his views. Unlike Blair, he is as yet young and inexperienced in the art of manipulation and deceit.
Maybe that's why I trust him a Lot more than I trust Blair.

So the right-wingers have finally won.

You can't call someone a racist without people assuming it's all PC.

Great...now I know when I'm having my head kicked in by a bunch of BNP mouth-breathers, I should keep my trap shut eh?

sp1814- I;m not a right winger. I was just commenting on Cameron specifically, not the Tory party in general. I dislike Blair a great deal, and prefer Cameron (as a person!) in comparison. I am not going to vote Tory just for that reason though.
I am not defending what he said but there is some truth to his views:

What are the fruitcakes, nutters and racists doing in UKIP when they should be in the Tory Party where they belong?
Well that was a productive comment there foulecamp. I'm sure you'll choose to ignore the obvious sarcastic intent of that comment so, to clarify, that was not a productive comment there foulecamp.
I am appalled and offended at what Cameron said. The UKIP has always vigorously opposed and resisted any attempts at racist infiltration, and specifically states in its constitution that racist views are not acceptable. Until Tuesday, I was intending to vote Conservative with at least one of my three votes in the local elctions, but I will probably now not do so unless Cameron apologises and retracts his libellous accusation.
