My niece works in a children's hospital were a small child was admitted and was very poorly. They discovered he had MRSA and in turn caused necrotizing fasciitis.It turned out he had a small abscess in his nose and had been picking it.He had a cut on the finger he had been using. The poor little mite spent three weeks in Intensive care and lost his finger.I don't think his parents will let him do that again in a hurry.Apparently20% of the population carry MRSA in their nose.
