Sore Foot

Just wondering, does anyone know whats going on with my foot.

Sometimes when i rest it in a certain position, usually when pushing down on something so the middle of my foot is taking the pressure, i feel a really sharp pain in my foot, and when i move my foot its gone?

It also happens when i play football, but only rarely...

So its probably nothing much, but i just want to clear up what it is.
