Restrictions in hand luggage
We go to Florida in 5 weeks and are flying with Virgin. What are the current requirements regarding what you can and can't take in your hand luggage and suitcase and do you still have to get to the airport ridiculously early?

Virgin Atlantic close their check-in desks 60 minutes prior to take-off. They currently recommend checking in 2 hours before take-off. If you aim to allow 3 hours, you could be delayed en route to the airport for up to an hour and still check-in with no great rush.
