i have limewire pro and it is it is not downloading anything. i dont know why

Uninstall and reinstall it. Make sure which type of files you allow to be downloaded. Always put downloaded files on your desktop and scan them for viruses before opening. Because of the way some viruses are packaged you may still unintentionally install one.

I am not trying to be funny but it is often less hassle to pay the few bucks and get legit files.

Hi wildwood, having just read your reply to param I would like to know how to download files to desktop and scan them for viruses, I would be very much obliged as I am a bit of a novice to say the least. thankyou.

shylock, once the program is downloaded click the library tab and copy the file just downloaded, and paste on desktop. Then rightclick it and it should give you an option to scan it with your anti-virus. Then use that copy and not the one in the Limewire's shared folder. Anything you download should be scanned unless you are happy with where it came from.
