I don't think they'll be much interested in euros but dollars will be fine
I suggest you buy some Barbados Dollars to get you started. Then you will need US$.
Hi Busy Bee:

Here's what the official Barbados tourism website has to say about currency:

Hmm, lunch at The Ivy, tea at the Dorchester, holidays in Goa and Barbados - you're not looking for a PA by any chance? If so, can I be first to apply? ;-)
I was in Barbados in January - I used US dollars for everything.

Thanks all so much for your answers - think i'll just stick with my american dollars. Buenchico you are unbelievably knowledgable - i would have no hesitation in giving you a job! i would actually like a direct line to you so that i may quiz you when i need to know anything - some abers talk of 'pm ing' each other but not sure how that works? by the way it was actually lunch at dorchester, tea at ritz and dinner at ivy. i know im very fortunate in being able to do the things i do - only so successfully by having you point me in the right direction!
