Please help - this is my first SAGA Prize Crossword and I am learning how to understand Cryptic Clues but just cannot "get" these:-

10A Go through half the onions and a sausage (9) I have so far - - p - e - o - - Is this pepperoni?

8D Turned up for a particular flight (6) s - - - a -

10D Aristocrat entertaining misplaced idea as specialist (13) - - e - i - t - i - i - n

and last one

14D Telegraph lines, perhaps? (9) e - i - o - i - l
