I am not attracted to black women. At all. I can objectively see that some are attractive, but I am not attracted.

 

Somebody in the office suggested this was racism: I disagree.

 

I've never got the whole blonde thing either, having always preferred auburn/red/black, but I don't think that makes me 'blondist'!

I dont find black women attractive either. No doubt the idiotic cant think for themselves brigade would have me hoisted from my own petard for saying so. The whole concept of racism is incredibly dated nowadays, the issues have moved on for those intelligent enough to consider them properly instead of having a knee jerk reaction to anything which portrays black in a negative light. I dont like black culture or music either. Ask your office bimbo if that makes me racist.

Surely the point about racism is to be hostile to someone purely on the basis of their ethnic origin. This is not in any way connected to attraction - surely it is the opposite. As has been stated exhaustively, the notion of not fancying someone because of their skin colour is not racist - to suggest that they are an inferior individual because of their skin colour is racist - it's simple, i fail to understand why your colleague cannot grasp the notion.

You are not racist, it's just a matter of what you find attractive. Simple as that. Although, having said that, social conditioning has a lot to do with it. In the West, our ideals of beauty (thin nose, large eyes, etc) are based on the ideals of Ancient Greece, handed down to us over the centuries.

physical reality definitely, as...I don't know how to explain this. Basically, I only find the attractive black men sexy!...and only I know what's attractive to me. Black guys I find attractive include Tyrese, Sylvain Distin of Manchester City (to me he is one of the most gorgeous creations in the world), Thierry Henry, David James, Danny from Spooks...none of these men remotely resemble each other, but I find them all attractive.

On the other hand, I don't find Damon Wayans, for example, remotely attractive. So it's not black men, per se, it's just men who happen to be black.

Racist ? Thats the daftest thing ive ever heard, its just your personal preference of women !. Im with octavious on this, i have dated allsorts- black girls , blondes, brunettes, asians and red heads- i dont have a preference, i fancy a girl due to her individual good-looks and nice-personality.
